Past & Presence
Short Term Love, Long Term Memories
Five Feet Apart is a pop-punk band formed in Cherry Hill, NJ, that uses heavy distortion, dynamic rhythm, and heartfelt lyrics to find out what it means to be human. Consisting of Nick Buckley on vocals/guitar, Matt Gilbert on guitar, Edward McWilliams Jr. on bass, and Sam Fredette on drums, Five Feet Apart is ready to share their sound with audiences all over.
They do this with the forthcoming release of their debut EP, Past & Presence, an examination of how you never truly live in the present when you're always reaching for the past. Whether they're battling the anxieties of existential dread in "What's In Your Heart?", trying to solve an identity crisis in "(Insert Flashback)," or simply learning to let go of a relationship gone bad in "Hippocampus," each track looks to bring each member, as well as audiences, as close to a sense of comfort as one can get in a chaotic life.
